The relative purity of lutetium is at least 99.95%+, with an average of 9.8-10g per piece. It is semi polished and cannot achieve a mirror effect, but its drawing surface is much smoother and more exquisite than that of ordinary grinding machines. Lutetium is the last element in rare earth metals, and it is the hardest, densest, and relatively least active metal among rare earths. Bulk lutetium does not darken or oxidize severely in the air, but due to its high price, it is recommended to protect it well.
